Vermont Issues Statewide Burn on Debris Burning

The Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation has issued an order for all Town Forest Fire Wardens to cease issuing burning permits from noon on September 22, 2025 until this order is revoked.

Due to predicted sub-zero temperatures the Westmore Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Machinery can become inoperable. The Transfer Station will resume operation on February 14th weather dependent.
