Please see the attached draft site plan for what was discussed for the Town Beach Improvements.
-Eliminate the current crosswalk at the vehicle entrance. Put one crosswalk on each side (east side, west side) of the current parking areas. This includes curb-cutting the existing curb, removing a few boulders at the new cross walk opening.
-Add a fence to deter pedestrians from crossing anywhere. The fence needs to be 12' off the travel way, which should put them on the north side of the current boulders.
-Add signage along the road notifying vehicles of crosswalk location. I included rapid flashing beacons on each crossing.
-Removable speed bumps or tables at the approach to each crosswalk.

Due to predicted sub-zero temperatures the Westmore Transfer Station will be closed on Saturday, February 7, 2026. Machinery can become inoperable. The Transfer Station will resume operation on February 14th weather dependent.
