On Saturday, May 4th, 2024, Westmore, Vermont, will come alive with community spirit as we celebrate Green Up Day.
It’s a time to roll up our sleeves, grab those trash bags, and hit the streets, parks, and trails. Let’s beautify our town, pick up litter, and make a positive impact on our environment. Whether you’re a seasoned participant or a first-timer, your efforts matter. Together, we’ll create a cleaner, greener Westmore. See you there!

The Town of Westmore is conducting a survey to get public opinion on the Town Plan revision. We want to know how you think we should plan for the future of Westmore. It is your chance to influence the future on a local level. It is the best place to start. Click below to access the survey in an electronic format or paper forms are available at the Town Clerk's office at 30 Hinton Hill Road in Westmore. NOTICE The FOREST FIRE WARDEN OF the TOWN of WESTMORE IS Chris Venegas 802-239-3240 By state law, if you wish to burn natural wood or debris outdoors, you must obtain a burning permit from the Town Forest Fire Warde. The warden in your town will be able to advise you on local burning regulations and current conditions. Remember, “Only YOU can prevent forest fires.”

The Town Clerk's Office will be closed on Thursday, July 2 and Friday, July 3 in observance of the July 4 holiday. Office hours on Tuesday, July 7 will be 9AM to 2:30PM.
Water test sample results for the North Beach swim area taken on June 24 have come back. Testing confirms that bacteria are well below safe thresaholds, and the area is currently open and safe for swimming. (Posted June 26, 2026)
